LAMPSHADES WORKSHOP - IN PRESENCE IN MILAN
Don't miss the opportunity to learn a new creative skill and take home a unique, handmade lamp made by you!
Join our course to learn the fine technique of weaving “lamparas tejidas,” originating in 1940s Mexico, the same technique used to make Caliu Milano lamps.
During the course you will make your own personalized lampshade, measuring 22x22x15 cm.
In the first part of the course, we will guide you in creating a color palette using regenerated cotton yarns and choosing the weave to weave on the lampshade, to ensure a harmonious and unique result.
In the second part of the course, we will delve into the weaving technique and begin working with yarns on the surface of the lampshade.
Finally, we will conclude the course by assembling the electrical component, so that the lamp is ready to illuminate your spaces with style and originality.
All the materials needed for the course will be provided by us, so you won't have to worry about anything.
